General
All orders are shipped from our store in San Francisco. Most lab grown jewelry pieces are made to order and can take up to 6-8 weeks for production and delivery.
Estate jewelry and in-stock items are typically shipped within 2 weeks. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail with your tracking information.
Made to Order means we begin crafting your piece only after you place your order - it isn’t pre-made or held in stock. Each piece is hand-finished by our jewellers and made specifically using the original design and specifications we’ve developed. Due to the craftsmanship involved, these pieces can take up to 8 weeks to arrive. Please note that we are unable to make any alterations or customisations, as the pricing is based on the fixed design and materials outlined in our catalogue.
Unfortunately, no. Made to Order pieces cannot be customised. If you’re looking for something tailored to your preferences - whether that’s a different stone, metal, or design details - you’ll want to explore our Bespoke offering.
Custom or Bespoke refers to a fully personalised experience where we collaborate with you to bring your unique vision to life - ideal for engagement rings, heirloom redesigns, or any one-of-a-kind piece. The process includes design consultations, where we work closely with you to refine your ideas, and everything from stone selection to design details is entirely up to you. The quoted price includes all design fees, up to 2 CAD (Computer-Aided Design) renderings, and any consultations needed to bring your piece to life. To get started, simply reach out to us for a consultation, and we’ll guide you through the entire process from initial concepts to final delivery.

We do not do written insurance or estate appraisals but we are happy to give you our expert opinion on value and history.
All of our lab grown diamonds are guaranteed to be at least G color and at least VS2 clarity.
Typically, our diamonds over 3 carats are IGI certified. Bracelets, necklaces, and multi-stone rings are not certified but we guarantee their authenticity.
If you submitted a note for us during checkout, don't worry! We have received your note, but it's only visible on our end.
Shipping
We ship to most countries. Due to restrictions on the import of fine jewelry, we cannot ship to Brazil, France, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, and Switzerland.
Some countries have further restrictions based on order value so please check your local laws.
Any duties and taxes owed will be calculated and added to your total during checkout.
Made to order items take up to 6-8 weeks for delivery.
We use UPS for shipping unless UPS is not available for your shipping address (ex. PO Boxes).
We typically ship via UPS Ground or 2-Day. For high-value orders over $2,500, we ship UPS Next Day Air.
If you need your item by a specific date, please make a note during checkout.

Repairs
Yes! Any order purchased within 6 months is eligible for complimentary repairs.
Repairs requested after 6 months may be subject to a fee, depending on the work required. We’ll always provide a price estimate and get your approval before proceeding.
Repairs can take up to 4 weeks to complete. We’ll keep you updated on progress and let you know as soon as your piece is ready.

Our expert jewelers take the utmost care to restore your piece as closely as possible to its original condition. If a repair requires alterations, we’ll discuss this with you before moving forward.
Upgrades
No. Upgrades are only included as part of our special Upgrade Sales. When these promotions are running, your order will qualify for a complimentary upgrade item. Customers will have prior notice of these upgrade sales via social media, email marketing, and our website.
Orders under $1,000 receive a mystery upgrade item. These are mostly silver jewellery pieces, chosen by the Mureta team. Customers cannot select or swap this item.
Orders over $1,000 receive a premium upgrade item. Upgrade items are generally valued between 10% and 200% of your order’s retail value, with an average of around 25%. These items are chosen by the Mureta team, and we take into account your prior purchases - not in terms of their value, but to reflect your style and to avoid unnecessary repetition in your collection. (i.e. If you’d purchased 2 carat studs from us in the past, we would avoid sending them to you as an upgrade).
Upgrades are based on retail value. They are almost always jewellery - most often estate pieces, sometimes designer - and are generally silver or better in quality. When possible, we will share select upgrade items via social media.
If an upgrade item was missed, please email us right away and we’ll make sure you receive it within two weeks. We are a small team and sometimes mistakes happen - but please know we’ll always make it right. We also keep detailed records of upgrades with each order, so rest assured nothing will be overlooked.
If your main purchase is returned (for refund or store credit), the upgrade item must also be returned in its original condition. If it is not returned, we will deduct the retail value of the item from your refund/store credit amount.
If you keep your purchase but do not like your upgrade, you may request a replacement. Please note: replacement requests are reviewed case-by-case, and Mureta reserves the right to approve or deny them.
Most of the time, the upgrade will be thoughtfully selected by the Mureta team. Occasionally, we may invite you to choose from a selection of upgrades - this will be shared in advance if available.
Upgrade items cannot be returned on their own. They must either be kept or returned with the original purchase.
