Our Story

Founded in 1983 by Gary Mureta, our journey began as Mureta’s Antiques, quickly becoming a beloved San Francisco destination known for its exquisite vintage jewelry and fine antiques. In 2020, Gary entrusted this legacy to John Quillinan, a jewelry expert mentored by Gary since his youth.

John, whose early fascination with gemology began at Bay Area flea markets, pursued his passion at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America. His partnership with Caroline Nalle, a costume designer and historical fashion enthusiast, has deepened the store’s commitment to curating exceptional antique and vintage jewelry inspired by timeless designs, including their shared admiration for beautiful design and craftsmanship.
